Before realizing it was my biggest mistake since the beginning.
It is that specific myth that made me producing so bad tracks during all these years.
From the beginning of the Martin Garrix era - that means since 2013 - this myth have been amplified after his interview for Future Magazine where he shows his Sylenth1 instance using a preset from an expansive seller.
And this got into a horrible loop effect. Let me explain:
This led to specific issues like the saturation of the soundbank market.. nowadays, nobody knows what soundbank to buy and this is so sad. so difficult. so time-consuming.
And as during any other market saturation.. we see the limit of the currently used model :
By searching a bit, you realize that in general, the quality of the tracks made by the intermediate-level producers is not growing up (right graph), whereas most of them don't stop buying soundbanks (left graph).

I've been through there and now it sounds obvious to me, but the number of soundbanks you download is not and will never be linked to your producer level.
